sec four farewell
the chinese say

it's time again for us to part
i shall skip minor details
i will zoom into what i think caught my attention
`weiyu's departure
the moment we reach JE mrt station
i saw this lonely girl standing in the middle of the crowd
yet she is in the corner of attraction
i wanted to walk to her
and say some words to her
but i don seemed to know what to say
while struggling whether or not to go
the train come
my struggle ended automatically
i had no other choice but to board the train
we reached the barbecue pit in approximately two hours' time
there
we idle for a while
ate some food
and play for quite some time
before i know it
the sun sets
i was, very fortunately, at bedok jetty when i witness the setting sun
the line that seperates the sea and sky was so faint that it is almost invisible
looking up the sky
it was ,miraculously, reddish pink colour that have dyed the white fluffy clouds
a while later
it turn navy blue
stars peeps out from the clouds
decorating the lonesome night sky
though romantic
i couldnt explain why there's this unbearable feeling in me
it was so strong that i made me so solemn
i sat down and settle myself to enjoy the breeze
i brought Weiyu to the jetty
and i finally know why that feeling grew in me
i guess she must have been the reason
i looked at her the way i never look at her before
she didnt look like the wei yu she was
i wanted to ask her things like how she felt
but i didnt dare
especially when i see her in high spirits
i hope she could sustain this feeling to the very last moment
to be frank
wei yu and i arent best friends
neither are we very very close
we only chatted like 5 times
but i couldnt explain the unbearable feeling when the thought of her leaving comes to my mind
it must have been my eyes that have betrayed me
it must be them that let out those "unbearable feeling"
and weiyu must have coincidentally saw them
i can tell her knows i want to speak to her
but she tries to appear normal
her normality makes me hold back everything
thus i decided not to say again
wishy washy eh?
we took some pictures and we went back to the pit
after that
the girls and i had to make a move
wei yu hold me back
she gave me a tight hug
i didnt expect to be so tight
and she's bony
eat more gal!
after that i patted her
i told her not to cry
i did that umpteen times
but the thing is
she wasnt crying
haha
i was just tryin to compose myself
it's the second time someone left me to another faraway land
perhaps
we can only communicate through cyber means
i hated that
but there's no better choice
parting is another thing that we cant control
actually
i regretted
for not talking to weiyu more often
at the same time
i was feeling rather relieve
cos if i had done so
we will be too close that i will not want to see her go
contradicting huh
i must learn from this
to not wait anymore
i must live as though i have no tomorrow
i don want to regret again

last year, i talked to patricia
this year, talked to another wise sage whom should not be mentioned
i guess she/he must have felt very unfair
these words of wisdom indeed leave me a great impact
thought through thoroughly what the sage had said
ah! what a painful process
it was as though razor-sharp knife had slide itself on my delicate heart

the process recurred
